On May 31, my brother, Nathan, got married to Dayleigh in the Oklahoma City Temple.
Jeff had to work until midnight the night before the wedding. I considered flying out early, but wasn't brave enough to take 3 kids to the airport and fly by myself. So we flew to Oklahoma on the day of the wedding. We missed the ceremony, but made it to most of the luncheon and went to the reception. I think the kids will forever remember the sprittles (sprite mixed with skittles) that they had at the reception.
Afterwards we were able to stay and visit in Oklahoma. My Grandma and Grandpa Hirschi were able to fly out to Oklahoma, so it was nice to be able to visit with them.
The kids had fun swimming in Grandma and Grandpa's pool. They only filled it up half way, so they were able to touch. It is nice to have cousins the kids age when we visit Oklahoma.
Austin and Tyler
Rachel and Mikayla
We didn't want the babies to miss out on all the fun, so we filled up the little swimming pool for them. They had so much fun splashing and playing. You can see Matthew is perched ready to crawl in the picture. That pretty much explains him: always on the move. It was actually in this swimming pool that Matthew pulled himself up to a stand for the first time. Brooklyn sat there and watched. She is a month older but very content sitting and watching.
We enjoyed our stay in Oklahoma and the kids enjoyed their cousin time!
