Halloween

Aunt Sara came out to visit to see Matthew and spend Halloween with us.  When she got here Matthew was in my lap unhappy as I was trying to type an email.  Sara offered to hold him so I passed him to Sara and immediately he stopped crying and gave her a little smile.  He is already smitten with Aunt Sara as are our other kids.

Some cute pictures taken while Aunt Sara was holding him.

We enjoyed carving some really cool pumpkins.

Here they are all lit up.

At school Tyler's class had a party where the kids dressed as a storybook character.  Tyler dressed as Pinocchio (Thanks Sara for all the costume accessories.)

This year for Halloween Rachel dressed as Princess Ariel and Tyler was a vampire. The kids went trick or treating at a couple houses around the neighborhood and then I went back home with Matthew while Jeff and Sara continued with the kids trick or treating.  They went to a really cool house nearby that decorated their garage and back yard like a haunted house.  We will definitely have to check that house out again next year.

Here's Matthew looking all cute in his Monster Costume:

Happy Halloween 2013!
