Fall Break

We had quite an eventful fall break.  First Jeff's parents came out.  They were able to meet Matthew for the first time. 

While they were here, we celebrated Grandma's Birthday.

The birthday cake says "Happy Birthday Princess Grandma"  and Rachel drew a princess on her card.

We also went to a pumpkin patch/corn maze while they were here.  The kids had fun doing all the activities.

The kids LOVED the duck race in the water.  Initially looking at the activity I thought they'd only play on this a minute, but they did it over and over again, running along side their ducks as they went down the stream.

Tyler and Rachel had fun getting buried in the corn kernels.

 

Then my parents and sister Kristina drove into town for the weekend.  This was their first time to meet Matthew too.

 

 

We went to Old Colorado City for the giant pumpkin weigh off.  There were some big pumpkins!

 

There were some pretty pumpkins.

 

And there were people dressed up for the occasion.



 

The kids got their faces painted.

 

And we enjoyed walking around Old Colorado City.

On Sunday was Matthew's baby blessing. Jeff gave him a wonderful blessing.  That Sunday I was also called as Primary President.  It was quite an eventful week.
