Copper Mountain

The last weekend before school started we went up to Copper Mountain with some friends, Steve, Marcia, Jada, and Zoe.  We rented a Condo for a couple nights and enjoyed some time away. 

We purchased a couple passes to do the activities.  I deemed myself the official photographer. Everyone had tons of fun!  The kids enjoyed bungee jumping on the trampolines.

The go karts were a huge hit.  Unfortunately, Rachel was too young to ride on them.  But that meant Tyler and Jeff were able to go an extra time.

The race is on!  It looks like Tyler and Jeff are having fun.

Marcia's having fun, but Zoe is looking a little nervous.  It is a good thing that Zoe is driving with her mom, because Marcia is not going full speed.

The boys have fun trying to pass each other and everyone else.

 

Everyone had fun on the bumper boats too.  I was surprised how long they were able to stay out there and shoot at each other.  I took a million pictures thinking it wouldn't last long, but they kept going and going.  There was no line, so maybe why that was why they were able to stay out there so long.

 

At first Jeff had Rachel sitting next to her, but their boat kept going in circles, so Rachel ended up on Jeff's lap while they road the boat.

 



Tyler and Zoe at a face off.  Tyler was lucky and had the boat with the best water squirter.  It shot a little lower than most of them, shoting at people strait on instead of over them. It was not a good idea to get in a face off with Tyler.

Jeff and Steve also took the chairlift up the mountain with their bikes.  Steve made it down in half the time as Jeff.  We knew Jeff's bike was not the greatest bike, but trying to ride it down the mountain proved it.  The brakes hardly work at all, so Jeff had to put his feet down on the ground to slow him down at times and certain sections he had to get off the bike and walk it down.  The moral of the story is don't let your wife buy you a cheap bike from K-mart.

 

The next day we all took the chairlift and enjoyed the view and a friendly game of bean bag toss. 

 

Rachel loved the Condo.  She kept calling it "the home that is not our home."  They had a hot tub, which Rachel LOVED.  It was nice bringing food there and not having to eat out each meal.  We loved Copper Mountain and hope to go back there soon!
