We are excited that after about 4 weeks our basement is finished! I keep putting off posting pictures since my plan was to totally move into the space and then take pictures BUT sorting through boxes of stuff that we have accumulated through the years and moving in the things we want, dusting things that have been neglected, trying to store our stuff into the closet and storage area, and doing finishing touches like decorating and hanging pictures on the wall seems to be taking forever! So although we are not totally done moving into the space, here are the pictures anyways.
So in our basement we added a bedroom with a walk in closet.
A bathroom which includes a shower, 36 inch vanity, small linen closet, and BEAUTIFUL flooring put in by us (the only project we did ourselves.)
A playroom under the stairs
And the whole reason we finished the basement: our rec room.
It includes a play area for the kids
a tv area (still without a tv)
We love our basement!!!
Now we have an extra bed room if anyone wants to visit (although you still will be on the floor with an air mattress)

Yay!! It looks awesome! So jealous of all your space and having a place for all the toys and a place to run around!
It looks FABULOUS! We really love the bathroom - nice workmanship on the floor and the decor is great. We can harldy wait to visit.
