Rachel's birthday came and went this year without us celebrating it....because we decided to celebrate it the following week with family. We were happy to wait a week to celebrate this occasion with family in California.

I made chocolate cupcakes from this allergen free recipe. It's the best recipe I've found for allergen free cupcakes. I couldn't decide how to decorate Rachel's cupcakes, so she got Dog cupcakes and Princess cupcakes for her birthday. She was very upset when I stopped her from stealing a cupcake off the counter before her party. (Don't you love her shoes?)
She had fun opening her gifts (with a little help from Tyler who wanted to be in on the excitement).
She loved all her presents, but most especially her leaptop! I thought it was cute how she would dance to the music. She was just enamored with this thing! (I hope it turned out!)
Rachel is our little princess and we are happy she is part of our family!
