Tyler's Favorite things:

• Pirates! He loves his pirate ship he got for Christmas and loves wearing his glow in the dark pirate shirt.
• Curious George puzzle. Tyler used to pull out a 500 piece Golden Gate Bridge/airplane puzzle. His mother got tired of helping him do the puzzle. She was very glad he has enjoyed his Curious George puzzle he got for his birthday. Tyler is excited because he can do it himself.
• War documentaries. Jeff started watching these documentaries and Tyler decided he liked to watch them too. When Tyler watches them, he asked his dad millions of questions about what's going on, why they are bombing, etc. This kind of annoys his dad who is trying to watch the documentary, but they still love to watch them together.
• Train set. Tyler still loves his train set, but right now he likes wrecking it the most. After wrecking it Tyler likes being "Bob the Builder" and fixing it.
• PBS kids. Tyler loves watching Curious George, Martha Speaks, Clifford, and Word Girl.
• Playing outside. He enjoys his Big wheels, collecting rocks in the basket on his tricycle, and playing baseball with his dad.
• The color blue. For months everything he colored in nursery and preschool were blue. Sometimes he would venture out and use different shades of blue. Luckily now he is branching out to different colors than just blue.
• Corn dogs and Macaroni and Cheese.
• Rachel. He loves having his little sister and always gets in her face or pats her cheeks.

Accomplishments

• Tyler can count to twelve (He has learned a whole 2 numbers. Last year he could count to 10).
• Tyler knows most of his upper case alphabet. He still mixes up W, Y, and V.
• Tyler can buckle himself up in his car seat. (It makes things easier for me).

Common phrases

• "Whadya say???"
• At the breakfast table, "So, what's the game plan for today?"
• At the dinner table, "So tell me about the best parts of your day."
• Tyler has his own watch. He loves to tell us what time it is. The most common time we hear is "Thirty o'clock". And if it is not "Thirty o'clock" it is usually "Forty o'clock".
• "You're a goober!"
• "Today tomorrow" rather than tomorrow.
• When Tyler is ready to get off the phone he states, "I'm done talking now!"

Cute Stories

• A man was at our house giving us a quote for an air conditioning system. After he was done, Jeff and the man shook hands and then the man started walking out to his car. Tyler bolted toward the man and got right in front of him and stuck out his hand. He wanted to shake the man's hand too.
• When I was pregnant with Rachel, Tyler would feel my stomach then exclaim, "The baby licked me!" (rather than the baby kicked me).
• After Rachel was born Tyler patted my stomach and told me "Now there's a little baby in your tummy!"
• Tyler pushed the start button on the dishwasher and said, "I just had to push play."
• Tyler got on an elliptical machine and exclaimed "I'm fat!" He started pushing buttons on the machine and said "This is how much fat I am!"
