This summer we sign Tyler up for swim lessons. He LOVED it! He went everyday for two week and was excited to have some of his preschool friends in his class.
It was fun to see him improve over the two weeks. Tyler was so timid the first couple days and would sit on the back step. His teacher would have to come seek him out to work with him. But after afew days he was asking for his turn and jumping into her arms with excitement to begin "his turn".
Tyler's favorites were Red light (no kicking)/ Green light (kicking fast!)
And going down the slide (only the last couple feet)
Even though lessons are over he continues to ask to go swimming with his teacher.
He loves swimming!

That looks like a great idea. My mom teaches swimming lessons and has been working with Kate when they visit/or we visit. It makes me feel so much better about having them in and around pools. Way to go Tyler!
That is great! I put Shawn and Brady in swimming lessons the beginning of the summer too and they loved it. They both are a lot more confident around water now which is good - they were almost scared of it before! :)
I'm so glad Tyler LOVED swimming lessons! It was so fun to do it together! He's such a cutie and love his big smile!
