Fall Festivities

Fall is one of our favorite seasons.  Unfortunately it rained so much this fall that we had to spend a lot of it indoors.  One Saturday Jeff was able to take the kids to Uncle Bob's Pumpkin Patch. Everyone got a photo on the old tractor.

The next Saturday we took the kids to the Rock Ranch (Chick-fil-a's Ranch).  It was our first Saturday with nice weather and it was CROWDED!  This kids enjoyed the cornmaze, fishing (although we didn't catch any fish), riding go carts, exploring the little town, and riding the ponies.  The lines were kind of long, so we didn't get to do the paddle boats, but we did almost everything else.

We carved pumpkins but I just realized we never got a picture of the finished product.  I haven't been the greatest picture taker lately.  But here is a picture of Rachel looking very cut while getting out those pumpkin guts.

We enjoyed the ward Chili cook off, Trunk-or-teat, and hayride. Tyler and his friend Max both ended up being football player (they didn't plan this a head of time).  The hayride was super fun and crazy.  Matthew looked really scared the whole time.  The older kids road it 3-4 times, but once was enough for Matthew.
