On Thanksgiving we had Jeff's siblings over. Sara flew out from California and Marc, Ashley and Alyssa drive from north Atlanta.
We had good food and good family. You can't ask for more. We had fun making a homemade apple pie with various symbols on the pie crust that represent the Dunbabins. (scissors, baby bottle, football, airplane, and delta symbol).
While Sara was in town we had a fire and roasted marshmallows. The kids have LOVED having a fire pit in our backyard to build fires and roast marshmallows on. This time I bought jumbo marshmallows to roast. The marshmallow is bigger than Rachel's mouth.

During one of our marshmallow roasting episodes there was a small animal coming out of the forrest behind our house. All we could see at first was the eyes glaring back at us in the dark. It walked slowly toward us and we finally realized it was just a cat that had no tail. We were timid around the cat because we did not know if he was friendly or where he came from. He took a liking to us and we named him Forrest since he came out of the forrest. The next day we saw him at the neighbors house and they said the cat was the neighbor's next to them. Although we found out his real name is Sparkles, our name of Forrest stuck and we still call him that.
