Rachel's Stats:
Height: 36 3/4 inches (98th percentile)
Weight: 28 pounds (62nd percentile...yeah! her weight is going up and back on track. She didn't gained much weight last check up, so I'm glad she gained weight this time around.)
Rachel loves to carry "ruff-ruff", her stuffed puppy, around with her. She loves taking him on stroller walks and feeding him her food at meal times.
Rachel is all girl and LOVES wearing dresses. Her favorite pink play dress often never makes it from the laundry to her closet because always spots it and changes into it. If it was up to her she would probably wear her fancy church dresses everyday.
Rachel is not much of a talker and we are trying to work with her to say more. She put two words together for the first time a couple weeks ago...she saw a dog and said "Hi, Dog!"
Rachel is a picky and stubborn eater. She will not try new things...it took forever before she would try chicken nuggets, and even longer before she would try a hot dog (which she spit out), and she still has yet to try any form of ground beef. In her defense she has tried broccoli and loves it! I steam broccoli pretty frequently now.
Rachel still has her egg allergy and tested positive for an allergy to peanuts on her skin test a couple of months ago. She's still yet to have a peanut, so I don't know how she would react. A couple weeks ago we decided to experiment further with the egg allergy. I have several friends who's kids have egg allergy, but can eat a small amount of egg baked into something. I decided to give Rachel a third of a roll that had eggs in it. Usually 30 minutes after she eats something with egg, she throws it up. Thirty minutes came and went; an hour came and went. Later we put Rachel and Tyler to bed. Soon Tyler comes running down the stairs to inform us that Rachel is throwing up. She finally reacted...2 and a half hours after eating her piece of roll....back to no eggs. period. cleaning up throw-up off carpet was not fun.
On a brighter note, here is a cute daddy daughter picture.
